Master’s degree

• Complete a minimum of 112 credit units (1 credit unit = 15 hours), being 56 in coursework and 56 in the Dissertation development
• Proof of English Language Proficiency within 365 days after enrollment 
• Qualifying examination
• Completion of all requirements and deposit of dissertation within 36 months of first enrollment
• A dissertation supervised by the academic Advisor shall be defended in a final, oral examination by an Examination Committee

Doctor’s degree

• Complete a minimum of 192 credit units (1 credit unit = 15 hours), being  48 in major field and 144 in the Thesis development
• Proof of English Language Proficiency within 365 days after enrollment 
• Approval in the Qualifying Exam
• Completion of all requirements and deposit of thesis within 48 months of first enrollment
• A thesis supervised by the academic Advisor to be defended in a final, oral examination by an Examination Committee

Doctor’s degree (Direct Doctorate)

• Complete a minimum of 248 credit units (1 credit unit = 15 hours), being  104 in major field and 144 in the Thesis development
• Proof of English Language Proficiency within 365 days after enrollment 
• Approval in the Qualifying Exam
• Completion of all requirements and deposit of thesis within 60 months of first enrollment
• A thesis supervised by the academic Advisor to be defended in a final, oral examination by an Examination Committee
